Rofebuild Takes Out The Awards

Highlands builders have proven they are up with the best at the Southern Regions Building Awards recently.

Eight construction companies won awards across a range of categories for various projects from Bowral to Robertson.

The ceremony was held at Ulladulla Civic Theatre and recognised builders from the south east regions of NSW.

The award for best renovation and addition for projects between $200,000 to $250,000 went to Ablock Builders for a project at Kangaloon Road in Robertson.

The award for the best renovation and addition between $300,000 and $350,000 went to Steve Och from Prestige Building and Property Services for a project at Cluff Crescent in Bowral.

In addition to this, Mr Och won an award for best renovation and addition between $2 million and $3 million.

The best renovation and addition award between $1.5 million and $2 million went to Rofebuild for a project at Boronia Street in Bowral.

Rofebuild also won the best swimming pool over $100,000 award and best use of structural steel.

Shane Rofe from Rofebuild picked up the 2018 young builder of the year award. 

The award for the best display home between $400,000 and $500,000 went to Topline Constructions and Maintenance for a project at Church Road in Moss Vale.

The award for the best kitchen under $25,000 went to Topline Constructions and Maintenance, also for the project at Church Road in Moss Vale.

The award for the best medium density with five or more dwellings between $8 million and $9 million went to TBG Construction for a project on the Old Hume Highway at Mittagong.

TBG Construction also won the award for the best new commercial property between $8 million and $15 million for a project at Hanson Street in Bowral.

Several businesses also received a certificate of excellence at the awards ceremony.

Quay 3 received an award for trade of ceramic tiling at a project in Berrima, and TBG Construction won an award for trade of decorative steel for a project in Mittagong.

The best commercial building between $1 million and $2 million went to Dobsonei for a project at the corner of Cook and Anne Streets in Mittagong.

The award for the best kitchen more than $50,000 went to Hume Building for a project at Stirling Drive at Wilton.

Quay 3 and TBG Constructions received certificates of excellence.
